Process
We have a process framework which helps us think about how we can best help to achieve success on a project.
Position x Prepare x Pursue x Perform = Success.
1. Position
Consider what the goal is, what does the best outcome look like and how can we get there? What does the business stand for, and what makes it special? How can its unique story be told in the strongest and clearest way?
2. Prepare
Every successful deal or project we’ve worked on involved loads of hard work and a lot of preparation. What needs to be done and when and by whom? How are we going to achieve our goals or engage the ideal buyer or investor? What could be challenged and what do we need to worry about before any problem or risk could materialise?
3. Pursue
Now get on and make it happen! Make decisions quickly – “when you know, you go”. Get the best advisors involved and “conduct the orchestra” to pursue success.
4. Perform
Keep focused on the goals and be relentless in ensuring that the project or deal runs to plan, accepting that things always change and adapting is essential.
